Verse 1

The water flashes brightly the early morning sun,

Fishing boats come and go, the work is never done

The Master walks the lakeside to call the chosen ones.

Come with me Simon, I’ll give you a new name.

Come with me Andrew, you’ll never be the same.

Lay down your nets, your fishing days to end

I’ll make you fishers of men.

Verse 2

My life was losing luster, no future could I see

No one to understand my longings and my needs

The Master came calling, this time he wanted me

Come with me little child, don’t let this chance pass by

A new life is waiting here, one that satisfies

Let go of all that holds you back, don’t let it tie you down

After all your searching you’ve been found!

                                                          Verse 3

He calls your name, waits patiently, but still you delay

Knocking on your heart’s door, don’t waste another day

The Master comes calling, ask him in to stay.

Come with me little child, don’t let this chance pass by

A new life is waiting here, one that satisfies

Let go of all that holds you back, don’t let it tie you down

After all your searching you’ve been found!
